Liam Murphy

Liam Murphy is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive expertise in product design and development, currently serving as a Senior Product Design Mechanical Engineer at Verkada since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Apple, contributing to the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 14, and at Neuralink, where complex assemblies for in-vivo devices were designed using SolidWorks and thermal analyses. At Function Engineering, Inc., Liam developed products for health and robotics clients, while earlier positions involved teaching and internships focused on engineering consulting, CAD modeling, and prototype testing. Liam holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and the University of California, Davis, respectively.
