Mathieu Blanchard

Mathieu Blanchard currently serves as the Battery Development Team Leader at Verkor, overseeing battery definition convergence and validation from R&D to Gigafactory since September 2025. Prior to this role, Mathieu held multiple positions at ACC - Automotive Cells Company, including Cell Product Leader and Cell Assembly Technical Leader, focusing on cell design convergence for a Mercedes project and design process convergence for mechanical architectures. Mathieu's earlier experience includes leading a process simulation team at ArianeGroup and conducting a PhD study at CNRS on the influence of flames on acoustic amplification. Educational background includes a PhD in Combustion Instabilities from École Polytechnique, a Master's in Space Engineering from Caltech, and an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from École Polytechnique.
