Robert Heron

Robert Heron possesses extensive engineering and project management experience, currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Product at Verlume since July 2018. Previously, Robert held the positions of Product Manager and Project Manager at the same company. Prior to that, Robert established Heron Design and Engineering Ltd in 2012, providing consultancy services for Oil & Gas Service Companies as a Director. Robert's experience at GE Power from July 2007 to January 2012 included roles such as Senior Designer and CAD Engineer, contributing to various subsea and surface projects while coordinating with teams to deliver high-quality designs. Previous positions at Gray & Adams Ltd included CAD Development Engineer, CAD Engineer, and Draughtsman. Robert's educational background includes a HNC in Mechanical Engineering from Banff & Buchan College and studies at Fraserburgh Academy.
