Vermicular USA markets and distributes premium cookware. Established in 2017, the company is based in Los Angeles, CA and operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aichi Dobby, Ltd. 

Originally founded in 1936, Aichi Dobby started out as a small foundry just outside of Nagoya, Japan. Utilizing its long history of casting and precision machining perfected by Japanese craftsmanship, the company launched its first enameled cast iron pot under the VERMICULAR brand in 2010. Praised for excellent quality and thoughtful design, the VERMICUALR enameled cast iron pot quickly became a success in Japan, resulting in a 15 month back order. 

At VERMICULAR, our mission is to spread the simple joy and benefits of home-cooked meals by making home cooking a more enjoyable experience. It is about growing a community that shares a common appreciation for the taste and beauty of home-cooked meals and the pleasure it can bring through reconnecting our families and loved ones.
