Jay Barry

Jay Barry is an experienced product lead at Vermont Information Processing since April 2019. Previously, from March 2004 to January 2019, Jay held multiple roles at Boston Beer Company, including IT Director and Systems Architect, where responsibilities included managing service delivery, leading technology development for sales operations, and overseeing system implementations such as SAP ECC6 and Oracle Fusion HCM. Jay also played a key role in developing Boston Beer’s iPad-based mobile sales enablement system and had significant involvement in business intelligence projects. Jay's earlier career includes positions at Information Resources, Inc., Chicago Tribune Company, and Bungie Software Products Corp., showcasing expertise in business intelligence applications, intranet development, and game design. Jay holds a Bachelor's degree in Russian Area Studies and Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
