Stephen Roughley has extensive experience in medicinal chemistry and cheminformatics, currently serving as Principal Scientist at Vernalis since September 2004. Responsibilities include managing the KNIME infrastructure, developing chemoinformatics tools, and leading drug discovery projects that have progressed to clinical trials. Additionally, Stephen has a strong background in NMR-based fragment screening and has contributed to various open-source projects.
