Bryan Velarde, Ph.D., is currently a Senior Policy Advisor at Veros Technologies, LLC, where they have held the position since 2025. They previously served in various roles with the US Army, including G2 Plans Chief and Battalion Commander, while acquiring extensive intelligence experience. Velarde earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Advanced Studies Plans and Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they were a PhD fellow from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, they have advanced military education with multiple master's degrees, including from the US Air Force School of Advanced Air and Space Studies and St. Mary's University. Currently, they are also the Deputy Chief of the Integrated Intelligence Center at the Defense Intelligence Agency.
