Joash Obare

Joash Obare is a Senior Program Officer at Verra, where they focus on the registration and verification of energy and industrial project requests. With a solid foundation in environmental studies obtained from Kenyatta University, Joash previously served as a Consultant at Environmental Cost Management (ECM) Centre, where they developed Environmental Management Systems and conducted Environmental Impact Assessments. Their experience also includes managing mitigation projects as a Project Manager at ClimateCare and serving as a Certification Officer at SustainCERT. With expertise in climate change and sustainability, Joash has played significant roles in the development of carbon documentation and certification processes throughout their career.
