Statton Hammock

Statton Hammock currently serves as General Counsel at Verra, the leading carbon credit standards body and registry, while also contributing as an Advisory Board Member for the Future Climate Collective, focusing on innovative climate education for high school students. Previous roles include Associate General Counsel at Catona Climate, where support for forestry projects generating carbon credits was provided, and community advocacy for Climate Changemakers. Statton's extensive legal experience encompasses positions as Vice President for Government Relations and IP Strategy at Clarivate, Vice President of Legal Affairs and Compliance at Rightside Group Ltd., and General Counsel at Media.net, where significant contracts and partnerships were negotiated. Statton holds a JD in Environmental Law from the University of Maine and a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability Studies from UCLA, among other academic credentials.
