Maye Emlein

Maye Emlein is an Environmental Law Associate at Verrill, specializing in environmental law in Maine and Connecticut since September 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the U.S. District Court in Maine, and roles as a Student Attorney at the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic, Summer Associate at Verrill, Legal Extern for the City of Portland Corporation Counsel, and Legal Intern at the Office of the Maine Attorney General. Maye's early career involved work as Warehouse Lead at MLS Courier and as a Monitoring and Evaluation Intern for the MAHMAZ Project at the Boston University School of Public Health, contributing to qualitative research and data collection in Zambia. Maye holds a JD from the University of Maine School of Law, an MPH from Boston University, and a Bachelor's in Anthropology from Wheaton College Massachusetts. Additional experience includes managing education programs focused on violence prevention at SARSSM.
