Matthew Singer

Matthew Singer serves as the Managing Director and Head of Innovation Capital at BlackRock since December 2021, focusing on customized growth equity solutions for mid-to-later stage companies in technology and healthcare. In addition to leading efforts at BlackRock, Matthew has taken on multiple board observer roles with companies such as Aiven, JumpCloud, and Deep Instinct, and serves as a board member at Bright Machines. Prior experience includes being the Head of Growth Capital Solutions at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where responsibilities included originating and executing private debt and equity transactions. Matthew holds an MBA in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in International Politics and Security Studies from Georgetown University.
