Andy Nelson

Andy Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Andy began their career as a Social Communication Manager Intern at More Cabbage, where they assisted in implementing digital marketing and social media strategies for various clients. Andy then worked as an Assistant Communications Manager, continuing to support client marketing efforts and training employees on social media usage.

In 2011, Andy joined The Houghton Star as a Managing Editor and later became the Opinions Editor, overseeing weekly columns and editorials. Andy then worked as an Admission Counselor Intern at Houghton College, contacting prospective students and responding to inquiries.

At TMS Health, a Xerox Company, Andy was a Customer Care Specialist, providing product support and technical assistance in a regulated healthcare environment. Andy also served as the Field Sales Representative at Roche, where they reestablished positive growth in their territory and managed sales of BG Products to pharmacies.

Andy later joined LTC Language Solutions as the Global Business Manager, responsible for managing global business operations. Andy then moved on to Valve+Meter Performance Marketing, where they served as the Business Development Team Lead, leading a team and driving business development strategies.

At Acadis®, Andy held the role of Federal Key Account Executive, managing key accounts and later becoming the Manager of Enterprise Business Development. Currently, they are employed at Versaterm as the Director of Marketing, responsible for marketing strategies and initiatives.

Andy Nelson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Philosophy from Houghton University from 2010 to 2013. Later, from 2016 to 2019, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.
