Or Matalon

Or Matalon is a skilled data scientist with extensive experience in the field of data science, currently employed at Versatile since July 2024. Prior to this role, Matalon worked at Rekor from August 2021 to June 2024 and was part of Waycare, a company acquired by Rekor, from April 2021 to August 2021. Matalon began the data science career as an intern at Elad Li Investments from November 2020 to April 2021 and completed internships at Cellebrite and Israel Tech Challenge in 2020. The internships included document classification and hands-on training in various data science techniques such as machine learning and computer vision. Matalon holds a PhD from Emmanuel Levy Lab, focusing on Protein-Protein Interactions, and has two master’s degrees in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Food Science, and Biotechnology from the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment at HUJI.
