Emma Wesel

Emma Wesel has a long and varied work experience. Emma began their career in 2014 as a Salesperson for McCartney's University Spirit. Later that year, they became the Editor in Chief of the SMU chapter of the Odyssey online publication. In 2015, they were an Intern at The Point Group, where they worked on both marketing and advertising projects as well as public relations work. In 2016, they were a Marketing Intern at Attorney VENUE, where they assisted with marketing and public relations projects as well as organizational and administrative tasks. That same year, they were a Social Media Intern at Social Revolt Agency, where they assisted brands with social media content creation, distribution and strategy. In 2017, they were an Account Representative and Influencer Development Intern at rewardStyle. From 2018-2021, they worked at Draper James, beginning as a Marketing and PR Associate and eventually becoming a Senior Marketing and PR Manager. In 2021, they joined Village Marketing, a Wunderman Thompson Company, as a Senior Marketing Manager. Finally, in 2023, they became the Director of Influencer & Growth at Versed, a Public Benefit Corp.

Emma Wesel obtained their High School Diploma from Lake Forest High School in 2013. Emma then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Advertising from Southern Methodist University, which they completed in 2017.
