Eddie Smith

Eddie Smith is a seasoned professional in the field of identity and security, currently serving as the GM and Founder of Identity & Security at Versent since January 2015, where the focus includes digital identity management, access management, and cloud security. Previously, Eddie held the position of Principal at Security Fusion, specializing in identity and access management and digital security from April 2012 to December 2014. An independent consultant from February 2008 to March 2012, Eddie worked as a Security Solution Architect with a strong emphasis on various security domains. Earlier roles include Technical Director at Agreon, Architect at Access360, and Manager at Deloitte between November 1997 and January 2001. Eddie’s educational background includes a CA in Accountancy and IT from the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a BFA in Accountancy and IT from the University of New England.
