Alan Barber

Alan Barber is an experienced security vetting and compliance professional, currently serving as the Lead Security Vetting and Compliance Specialist at Version 1 since May 2023. In this role, Alan oversees the security vetting process, ensuring regulatory compliance, and acts as the primary contact for vetting-related inquiries. Previously, Alan held positions as a Security Vetting Administrator and HR Consultant at Version 1, where responsibilities included preparing the company for IPSA accreditation and developing security policies. Prior experience includes serving as the Security Vetting Administrator at Automation Logic and as the Security & Vetting Co-ordinator at LEONARDO MW LTD, managing security clearance procedures and maintaining compliance with legislative requirements. Alan also has a background in supervising security personnel.
