John Long is an experienced technical professional with a strong background in IT leadership and system engineering, currently serving as Technical Team Lead at Version 1 since July 2011. John has successfully led initiatives in task automation and system integration, achieving significant efficiency improvements, and has played a key role in establishing a Data Analytics Centre of Excellence using Azure Synapse. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Systems Engineer, where John was involved in numerous infrastructure projects, and IT Consultant, managing a major Windows 7 Upgrade program for ESB Group. John holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics and multiple degrees in Computer Systems and Networking from institutions including Letterkenny Institute of Technology and Institute of Technology, Sligo.
