Lani Jacobs is a Senior User Researcher and Specialism lead at Version 1, with a focus on participatory, user-centered approaches in tech and social research. With over 10 years of international experience, Lani has led projects across the design/user research cycle, working with various sectors to ensure that the needs of marginalized and under-served communities are prioritized. Lani has contributed to organizations such as GSMA, Girl Effect, and UNICEF, while also consulting through Lani Jacobs Ltd. Lani holds a 1st class BA in Social Anthropology from The University of Manchester and a distinction in a Master of Science in Digital Anthropology from UCL.
