Laura O'Donnell currently serves as the Head of Employment Law, Employee Relations and People Partnerships at Version 1, beginning in September 2023. Prior to this role, O'Donnell held positions at Halfords from May 2016 to September 2023, including Head of Employment Law and Group Employment Solicitor, where responsibilities involved managing both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. O'Donnell's earlier experience includes working as an Associate Solicitor in the employment team at Mills & Reeve, advising public and commercial clients, including NHS trusts, and completing a secondment at Jaguar Land Rover. Additionally, O'Donnell began legal career as a paralegal at Wragge & Co LLP and as a legal assistant at Keoghs. Academic qualifications include an LPC from the College of Law and an LLB in Law with French Law from the University of East Anglia.
