Luis Torres

Luis Torres has over seven years of experience in the IT industry. Luis began their career in 2012 as a Penetration Tester at Banchiero, where they performed External Penetration Testing and Information Gathering using Matelgo, Dnsrecon, Fierce, Netcraft, Nmap scripts, Manual browser, Archive.org, Smart Whois, etc. In 2013, they moved to Lionix Evolve as a Web Developer, where they worked with SugarCRM, PHP, JQuery, MYSQL, SQL Server, and CSS, developing new features and fixes to SugarCRM. In 2014, they were hired by Dinamica Consultores Internacional S.A. as a Network Administrator. In 2015, they returned to VerSprite Security as a Security Consultant, and in 2018, they moved to Encripto AS as an IT Security Consultant, where they performed Web Application Penetration Testing and Owasp testing guide v4 and Owasp top 10. Currently, they are a Sr. Security Consultant at VerSprite Security.

Luis Torres obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Universidad Americana (CR) between 2009 and 2011. In 2014, they were certified as an Ethical Hacker by the EC-Council. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Autopsy Basics and Hands On (8-Hours) from Basis Technology.
