Atul Datey

Atul Datey is an accomplished manufacturing leader with extensive experience in managing large operational teams and budgets across prominent companies. Currently serving as the Head of Manufacturing at Versuni since June 2023, Datey oversees the Global Manufacturing program. Previously, as the Director of Manufacturing Evap, Powders and Cream at FrieslandCampina, Datey managed a cost base of approximately €360 million and a workforce of around 2,700, driving significant improvements in safety culture and operational efficiencies. Datey's career at FrieslandCampina also included roles such as Supply Chain Director for Asia and Director of Performance Excellence, where substantial reductions in accidents, energy, and water consumption were achieved. At Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Datey held various positions, including Head of Global Supply Chain for Homecare, demonstrating a track record of profit improvement and innovation delivery across multiple product categories. Datey holds a B. Tech (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
