Josh Aljets

Josh Aljets has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Josh started their career as a Technical Specialist at Compucom/Excell Data, providing technical setup and support at Microsoft events. Josh then joined Anthony's Restaurants as a Systems Administrator, where they developed features for internal web applications and implemented and maintained network components. After that, they worked as a Software Development Engineer at Festival Transaction Services, where they developed a transaction reconciliation system and reporting features. Following this, they joined DNA Response, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they built features for a call center application and integrated third-party APIs. Currently, they work at Vertafore as a Principal Software Engineer, designing and implementing major components, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring code quality. Overall, Josh has a strong background in software engineering, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, and databases.

Josh Aljets attended the University of Washington from 2001 to 2004, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science.
