David Folkner

David Folkner is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the engineering and technology sectors. As a Lead Mechanical Engineer at GE Oil & Gas, David played a pivotal role in sensor design and led the creation of nine patents. David's tenure at GE Power as a Digital Reliability Centered Maintenance Lead Engineer focused on custom data schemas and customer relations. David founded and served as CEO of Optimal Analytics, managing technology and sales operations. David's educational background includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University, with exceptional academic performance reflected in outstanding GPAs. Additionally, David has held roles in academia as a Graduate Instructor and conducted research in Computational Fluid Dynamics and additive manufacturing. Current responsibilities include serving as Practice Lead at Vertech since November 2022.
