The company, founded by Guido Vertemati & Alvaro Vertemati, has built Offroad motorcycles & engines for racing since 1993, becoming the pioneer of 4 Stroke Engine in offroad race. Before its foundation, the two brothers cooperate as riders, mechanics and team managers with Husqvarna Motorcycle AB and Husaberg AB, developing improvement for engine and motorcycle.

Nowadays Vertemati is also involved in engines&motorcycle design, cooperate with many big companies and  provide them knowledge and assistance during design, prototype and mass production phase. 
The company engineering departement cooperates with customers like Benelli Q.J., Lifan, Yingang, AEON, Sherco and Nicot Motorcycles.

Vertemati is also involved in engine and motorcycles design and manufacture for offroad motorcycle.
