Tapered insulation when done properly controls the direction of water into drains, to help avoid ponding water. Ponding water left on flat roofs can jeopardize the integrity of the roof. Vertex Building Science Solutions specializes in custom prebuilt tapered insulation packages for commercial flat roofing solutions. These solutions assist with preventing ponding water while satisfying your insulation requirements.

Through partnerships with building envelope suppliers, we can assist with the ordering process right down to what to buy, where to buy it and how much to buy. Each tapered insulation package is prepared from provided architectural drawings or on site laser measurements (available in select locations) of existing roofs. It also includes a colour coded drawing and each bundle of product is labeled with their corresponding section, for easy installation.
