John Andreassi is a highly experienced research scientist currently serving as a Principal Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since January 2017. Previously, Andreassi held various positions at DuPont from June 2005 to December 2016, including Principal Investigator and Senior Research Biochemist. Earlier in the career, Andreassi was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine from November 2002 to May 2005. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, an M.S. in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University, and an A.B. in Biology with Honors from Lafayette College.
