Kyle Woolwine

Kyle Woolwine, Ph.D., is the Lead Aerospace Simulation Engineer at Vertex Solutions, a position they have held since 2025. They previously worked as a Senior Principal System Engineer at Northrop Grumman from 2020 to 2025 and were a Senior Systems Engineer II/CFD Analyst/Lead Aerodynamicist at Raytheon for part of 2020. Kyle earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher, focusing on complex fluid flows and developing efficient CFD codes. They hold dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida.
