Steve Norwood

Steve Norwood, AIA, is an experienced architect and leader in the building industry. As President of Norwood Architecture, Inc. since 2007, Steve has been instrumental in forensic consulting and building product development, holding patents in several building envelope products. In addition to this role, Steve serves as a Senior Consultant at The Vertex Companies LLC since November 2023 and previously held the position of Discipline Manager at Intertek from June 2022 to September 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Architect at Ian Mackinlay Architecture, Inc. from 2003 to 2007 and as an Architect at URS Corporation from 1998 to 2001. Steve is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where studies were completed between 1982 and 1986.
