Suzanne Blevins

Suzanne Blevins is an accomplished professional in the field of microbiology, currently serving as the Technical Lead for Clinical and Environmental Microbiology at The Vertex Companies LLC since August 2024. In this role, Suzanne specializes in Compliance and Regulatory Services, focusing on HAI assessments, waterborne pathogens, USP <797> compliance, and Indoor Air Quality. Additionally, since July 2010, Suzanne has been the Owner and CEO of Apheresis Associates of Northern Virginia, the largest donor collection center in the country, collaborating with the Department of Defense and the National Marrow Donor Program. Prior experience includes positions as Principal at Aerobiology Consultants, LLC in 2024 and Founder and Laboratory Director at Aerobiology Laboratory Associates from 1997 to 2024. Suzanne holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology, with specializations in Microbiology and Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology, earned from Virginia Tech between 1970 and 1976.
