Christopher Cooper is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management within the aviation sector. Currently serving as the Pylon IPT Lead and Powertrain Programme Manager at Vertical Aerospace since March 2021, Christopher previously spent over a decade at Airbus, where notable roles included Project Lead for the NEO project in China and Work Package Leader for the Single Aisle NEO programme. Earlier experience includes a position as Project Manager at Airbus and Lead Engineer at GKN Aerospace. Christopher holds an Engineering Degree in Aerospace Manufacture Engineering from the University of the West of England and A levels in Maths, Physics, and Economics from Prior Park College.
