Eric Samson

Eric Samson serves as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Head of the Design Organisation UK at Vertical Aerospace since July 2020. With extensive experience in the aerospace sector, Eric previously held roles such as Vice President Engineering and Chief Engineer at Jet Aviation, where responsibilities included establishing strategic visions and overseeing the development of custom aircraft interiors. Prior work at Gulfstream Aerospace included management of key projects related to the G500, G600, and G650 aircraft. Eric's career also features positions at Bell Flight, Garier Inc., and Oerlikon Aerospace, showcasing a strong foundation in structural design and engineering.
