Michael Dawson

Michael Dawson is currently an Advanced EPU Mechanical Engineer at Vertical Aerospace. Previously, they served as a Senior Research Engineer in Electrical Motor Design with GKN Aerospace, where they led various projects from initial concept to prototype. Michael has experience across multiple engineering roles, including Mechanical Engineer and Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Collins Aerospace, where they contributed to the development of electric motors for hybrid aerospace propulsion. They also have a background in instruction, having worked as a Watersports Instructor at Whitecap Leisure and The Parks Trust Milton Keynes. Michael holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Exeter.
