Stephen Kirk is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in stress engineering, currently serving as a Senior Stress Engineer at Vertical Aerospace since February 2021. Prior to this role, Stephen worked at Airbus from May 2013 to June 2020, focusing on stress engineering for various aircraft programs, including the A380 and A320 Neo. At Bombardier Aerospace, from May 2011 to April 2013, Stephen contributed to the stress analysis of the C-Series wing. Earlier experiences include working at Base on the A400M project, particularly analyzing the vertical tailplane attachment lugs. Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, earned between 2002 and 2006.
