William Spencer

William Spencer is a Senior Prototype Battery Build Technician at Vertical Aerospace, overseeing the production of battery modules for aircraft packs since November 2022. Prior to this role, William served as a Senior Mechanical Technician at STFC from September 2014 to October 2022, specializing in 5 axis CNC machining and precision technical work within a science and technology research institute focused on partial accelerator development and maintenance. William holds a BEng in Design Engineering from Buckinghamshire New University (2020-2021) and an HND in Mechanical Engineering from St Helens STEM Centre (2016-2018). Educational background includes A-Levels in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics, along with an AS-Level in Further Maths from Formby High School and Sixth Form College (2007-2014).
