After years of living and working on their parents farms, Vertical Gardens was founded by farmer cousins Fred Mwithiga & Fred Kimani in 2020.

Vertical Gardens provides vertical hydroponic farming solutions that turn small spaces into highly efficient vegetable gardens across Kenya. Since 2020, we have successfully installed hydroponic gardens around the country for apartment dwellers, homes, restaurants, hotels, schools, and NGOs. 

Our gardens can increase per square meter yields by up to 300% compared to conventional farming per square meter. Our gardens also recycle up-to 90% of the irrigation water used and allow for faster than conventional growth through our carefully tested nutrient formula.
