Leon Brown

Leon Brown has extensive experience in the field of design. Leon currently holds the position of Design Lead at Vertice since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Mentor at adplist.org starting in 2021. From 2018 to 2022, Leon worked at Tessian, first as a Visual Designer and then as Design Director. During their time at Tessian, they played a key role in leading the design team, driving the company's creative direction, and launching Human Layer Security. Leon also founded Tessian's LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group called "Plus". Before Tessian, Leon held a position at Edinburgh College of Art as part of the Design Research Office in 2018. Additionally, they completed a Product Design Internship at ECHO Brand Design in 2016 and worked as a Permanent Collections Archivist at the Design Museum in 2015.

Leon Brown attended St. Olave's Grammar from 2007 to 2014, focusing on secondary education. From 2014 to 2018, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) in Product Design at The University of Edinburgh.
