Cortney Smith

Cortney Smith is the Senior Director of Sales at Vertify. Cortney has over 10 years of experience in sales, with a focus on developing and executing sales strategies, building high-performing teams, and driving results. Prior to joining Vertify, Cortney was the Director of Sales at SecureLink, where they helped establish and execute the hiring, training, and coaching of new hires. Cortney also helped develop playbooks and establish selling motion best practices in different verticals. During their time at SecureLink, they delivered an average of 108% attainment and improved ACVs by almost double. In 2018 and 2019, they were named one of the Best Places to Work by Built In Austin. Prior to SecureLink, Cortney was the Sales Manager at TrendKite, where they focused on developing and delivering a winning culture. Cortney has also held various other sales roles at Lifesize and Dell EMC.

Cortney Smith has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas and a BS in Business Management from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas.

They work with Miranda Fulenchek - Director, Product Operations, David Perdue - CTO, and Gabriel Pineda - CFO. Their manager is Matthew Klepac, CEO & Founder.
