Derek Jew

Derek Jew is a Systems Administrator at VertiGIS since March 2018, providing IT support for Latitude staff and troubleshooting a variety of network, hardware, and software issues, while also managing IT projects such as setting up new office spaces and deploying Windows 10. Previously, Derek served as an Information Systems Analyst Co-Op at Latitude Geographics from January to August 2015, where responsibilities included similar IT support and project work. Earlier experience includes a role as a Customer Service Representative at BC Ferries, focusing on passenger safety and service, and as a Team Leader at McDonald's, where managing teams and financial audits were key responsibilities. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Victoria, completed in 2018.
