Mark Hoogland serves as the Director of Finance for North America at VertiGIS since December 2017. Previously, Mark held the position of Senior Manager Accounting at Illumina from August 2015 to September 2017, where Mark facilitated the integration of the GenoLogics finance team with the San Diego headquarters. Prior to that, Mark was the Director of Finance at GenoLogics Life Sciences Software Inc. from October 2005 to August 2015, achieving key milestones such as preparing annual budgets for the Board of Directors, negotiating banking terms, and serving as the Senior Finance Leader for the Victoria location. Mark began the professional journey as an Accountant at Gary Zachary CGA between 2002 and 2005. Mark is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CGA) in British Columbia.
