Alan Smith

Alan Smith has extensive experience in the technology and sports sectors, currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at Vertiv since October 1990. Prior to this, Alan held various roles at Emerson Network Power from September 1990 to July 2015, including Regional Sales Manager for Queensland, Papua New Guinea, and the Northern Territory, and National Channel Manager. Alan also contributed to the sports community as a Board Member for Shooting Australia from August 2013 to November 2020 and served as the Past President of Commonwealth Games Australia for Queensland from 2014 to April 2019. Alan's educational background includes a Diploma in Frontline Management from the University of New England and attendance at Anglican Church Grammar School from 1970 to 1975.
