Alex Yip

Alex Yip is the Associate Director of Asia Pacific Tax at Vertiv, where they have been since 2017. With over 15 years of experience in Asia Pacific taxation—including corporate tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing—Alex has demonstrated strong project management skills in multinational environments. Prior roles include Manager and Senior Manager at Celestica and a Seconded Onsite Tax Manager at Bank of America through KPMG. Alex's expertise encompasses tax audits, negotiation with tax authorities, and the establishment of corporate tax policies, along with extensive exposure to US tax accounting. They are fluent in English and Chinese and are currently pursuing education at The University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, and Peking University.
