David Osuna is a postdoctoral research fellow at UCL, focusing on the mechanisms behind lung cancer development and smoking cessation using advanced methodologies on patient samples. Previously, David served as a laboratory demonstrator at Barts Cancer Institute, teaching MSc and MRes students molecular biology techniques, and conducted PhD research on a 3D culture platform to study cancer stem cells. David also interned at Cancer Research UK, managing workshops on early cancer detection, and has completed a rotation at UCL School of Pharmacy on rapamycin delivery systems. David holds a PhD in Cancer Biology & Bioengineering from Queen Mary University of London and a BSc in Molecular Biology from UCL.
