John Mize, MBA, Lean Master, Black Belt, and USAF Veteran, currently serves as the Vertiv Operating System (VOS) Manager at Vertiv since July 2023. Mize has extensive experience in continuous improvement roles, notably as the Continuous Improvement Manager at UniversalPure from April 2021 to August 2023, where Lean manufacturing strategies were implemented to enhance various operational metrics. Prior to that, Mize held multiple positions at Honeywell from 1994 to 2019, including Continuous Improvement Manager and Honeywell Operating System (HOS) Deployment Leader, achieving significant results in product flow and cost control while overseeing Lean Six Sigma initiatives across multiple regions. Additionally, Mize operates as a part-time stock trader since January 2020, targeting profits exceeding 10% per trade. Mize's military service as a Master Sergeant in the WA Air National Guard from 1989 to 2001 included leadership of a satellite communications team and excellence in training and budget management.
