Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and process engineering. Currently serving as a Test Engineering Manager at Vertiv since October 2022, Matthew previously held various roles at Hyperion Materials & Technologies for over a decade, progressing from Process Engineer to Process Engineering Supervisor, where significant contributions included oversight of high pressure sintered diamond product lines and leading multiple lean initiatives. Prior experience also includes a position as a Manufacturing Engineer at Acoust-A-Fiber, Inc., with responsibilities in the automotive manufacturing sector. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Miami University, attained in 2010.
