Steve Blackwell

Steve Blackwell has extensive work experience in the engineering and technology industry. Steve is currently the VP of Engineering at Vertiv since 2019. Prior to that, they were the Owner of Blackwell Innovation starting from 2018. In 2018, they also served as the VP of Operations at QiO Technologies Limited, where they had responsibilities in product support, project management, IT, and product security. From 2003 to 2018, they held the position of VP Engineering, Data Center Solutions at Vertiv Co, where they managed a multinational team of 600 engineers. Before joining Vertiv Co, they were the Director of Engineering at Centillium Communications from 2000 to 2003. Steve began their career as an Engineering Manager at Adtran from 1996 to 2000 and had previous experience as an Engineering Manager/Senior Engineer at Motorola/UDS from 1986 to 1996.

Steve Blackwell holds a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama. Steve also has an MBA degree from Nova Southeastern University.
