Tony Evans

Tony Evans has extensive work experience in various leadership roles related to program management, sales, and operations in the fields of critical facility operations, data centers, and infrastructure. Tony currently serves as the Vice President of Federal Strategy and Sales at Vertiv since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Director of Program Management and Transformation at BGIS from February 2020 to May 2021. From December 2017 to February 2020, Tony held the position of Director of Critical Facility Operations at Schneider Electric, where they focused on improving operational efficiency and implementing predictive analytics in critical environments. Before that, they served as the Director of Worldwide Defense Systems at Schneider Electric from January 2009 to December 2017, overseeing the design and optimization of data centers and infrastructure for various government and educational institutions. Tony's career also includes a role as the Director of Sales Engineering at APC|MGE from 1993 to 2008, where they managed the technical sales effort across different market segments. Tony began their professional journey in the United States Army and Army National Guard, where they served from 1983 to 2005.

Tony Evans holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Ocean Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Tony has also obtained certifications as a Commercial, Instrument Rated Helicopter Pilot and Repairman from the Federal Aviation Administration.
