Leo Ochoa

Leo Ochoa is an experienced professional in product design and entrepreneurship, currently serving as Accelerator Manager at VertueLab since April 2023, where responsibilities include leading entrepreneurship programs for ClimateTech startups. Ochoa has extensive experience as an Entrepreneur in Residence, providing critical coaching to startups on various business aspects. As the Chief Innovation Officer and Founder of Dorsum, Ochoa has developed innovative performance support devices to reduce back injuries. Additional mentoring roles include serving as a Startup Mentor at PIE and contributions in product design at Philips Design. Ochoa's professional background also features positions at Columbia Sportswear and as a design intern at GarageGames, along with foundational experience as a wildland firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service. Ochoa holds a Bachelor of Science in Product Design from ArtCenter College of Design and a double bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon.
