Cathy Diskin

Cathy Diskin currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Verus Specialty Insurance, a Berkley Company, since May 2023. With over 25 years of experience at Capital One, Cathy held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of Compensation, where a team was developed to design over 40 sales incentive programs and oversee risk functions for compensation. As CFO for Card Customer Channels and Enterprise Staff, Cathy partnered closely with various business leaders on financial management, strategic planning, and organizational transformation. Cathy also led financial planning for major bank integrations and supported long-term strategy development in multiple finance roles. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management from Virginia Tech and an Executive Banking certification from Louisiana State University.
