Bethany Boyd has a diverse work experience in the design field. Bethany started their career as a Graphic Design Assistant at Rizzi Designs in 2010, where they assisted with client website updates and had the opportunity to be a creative lead on a planning committee for a fundraising gala.
In 2010, they also joined Health Enhancement Systems as a Lead Graphic Designer, where they led a team of graphic designers and collaborated with other teams to create wellness campaigns and materials. Bethany designed multiple online employee wellness campaigns, including wireframes, prototypes, and mockup packages, and updated the design and functionality of the fall walking program Walktober.
From 2014 to 2016, Bethany worked as a Marketing Specialist at Granger Group, where they focused on developing and maintaining the First & Main Assisted Living and Memory Care website. Bethany updated website content and design to improve the user experience based on feedback and analytics data.
In 2016, they briefly worked as a Visual Designer at Modustri, a start-up software development company that unfortunately lost funding and had to eliminate positions.
Bethany then transitioned to Visualhero Design Company in 2017, where they started as a designer and later became a UX Designer at OpenDigital, the design arm of Open Systems Technologies, Inc. Bethany eventually advanced to the role of Senior UX Designer before becoming the UX Design Lead at Vervint in December 2021. Their responsibilities at Vervint are currently ongoing, with no specified end date.
Bethany Boyd obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Advertising from Michigan State University, attending from 2006 to 2010. In 2018, they enrolled at coLearning Professional Education to pursue Product Design. In 2019, they obtained the SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Open Systems Technologies, Inc.
