Julia Ront

Julia Ront has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various companies and organizations. Julia is currently the Founder & CEO of Vespia, a company dedicated to helping businesses achieve AML compliance. With Vespia, Julia aims to provide accessible and data-driven solutions for AML obligations. Prior to founding Vespia, Julia served as the Chief Verification Officer at Entify from 2019 to 2020, where they were responsible for verification processes. Julia also worked at Veriff from 2016 to 2018, initially as a Verification Team Lead and later as a Support Team Lead. During their time at Veriff, Julia played a significant role in the development of the company's identity verification solution. Additionally, Julia worked as a Lecturer and Project Manager at the Estonian Women's Associations Roundtable from 2014 to 2018, where they designed and conducted courses on topics related to bullying, violence, gender, work, and school. Furthermore, they gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Tartu from 2014 to 2015, where they graded homework and provided feedback to first-year students in Statistics and Introduction to Economic Theory. Through their various roles, Julia has developed strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Julia Ront pursued their education with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Tartu from 2012 to 2016. After completing their undergraduate studies, they decided to further enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of Analysis and Design of Informations Systems. Thus, Julia obtained a Master's degree from TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology, which spanned from 2017 to 2021.
